Glendalough trip
Our first trip of the semester will be a day trip to Glendalough. Here are two websites (1, 2) that show you what Glendalough looks like, and what there is to see and do for those of you who are interested in going.
It’s an old Monastic site with several walking trails to go on around the lakes and up into the hills surrounding them, so it’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
The date for this trip will be Sunday, 21 October. The bus will pick us up from in front of the Student’s Union building at 10:00 A.M. There is no admission fee to Glendalough, so the only cost for the trip will be for the bus, which will be only 10 EUR per person!
